Louis Francis Boiteux was born in 1887 at Camberwell, London and attested for the Royal Artillery 0n 07/06/1906 -trade given as a footman.(He was appointed by the Post Office as an "Indoor Boy" in 1903)
On the 1911 census, he is listed as an Officers servant with B B Battery Royal Horse Artillery.
Arrived in France on 17/12/1914.
He was awarded his L.S.G.C medal in 1927.
He is listed London Gazette 8th March 1935 as a War Office, War Dept Clerk.
Died in 1947 at Eltham, London.
